Hello everyone! This is my first official blog post.
I’m a big fan of the webcomic Beeserker, so I made this drawing depicting the four main humanoid characters in a typically hilarious bout of pseudo-violence and/or frolicking merriment. The cartoonist who draws these fine folks on a regular basis is Kyatt. Several months ago, I found his comic through my friend Denis’ comic L.A.W.L.S., and he recently drew this awesome Robbie for me! He’s been drawing Beeserker for exactly 13 months as of today, so consider my drawing an anniversary present of sorts.
I’m really impressed with Kyatt’s comics; not only does he write and draw the only webcomic about a robot powered by bees, he’s also very good at it. His sense of humor is refreshing–in each strip there’s a juggling act of comic melodrama and subtle wit. During an experiment gone awry, one of the Sciencemen contorts his face into an impossible grimace of urgency and dismay, while Scootsie, a bee/cat hybrid creature is being cooed and coddled by the lab’s female beekeeper, Trigona. I’m impressed how much humor Kyatt can fit in the space of a four panel strip without crowding out the delicious illustrations.
Kyatt practices his illustration daily at his blog Burn the Internet. (Best blog name ever, right?) There’s a whole bunch of drawing goodness here: His most infamous and laborious project is the Impokedéx, a vast Borgesian catalog of every Pokémon as a kitty! It boggles the mind… There’s a ton of awesome drawing and comics of every video and computer gaming sort here. If you play Minecraft, he has even has made custom skins from his Beeserker characters! Holy geeze! One last thing, he also contributes writing and drawings to the video gaming and comics site, 4 color rebellion which is equally classy and refreshing in defying the sameness that prevails most gaming sites.
Well, there you have it! My first blog post. I hope you take a few minutes to check out Kyatt’s stuff, it’s really quite excellent!

I can't believe I've never read Beeserker before. It's so good. Thank you for showing this to me.
You're welcome! I had a "where has Beeserker been all my life" moment when I found out about it, too–as if I was really "living" before then.
Sweet. New comics!
Excitement is happening! Can you dig ittttt?
Beeserker is mountains of awesome, thanks for the heads up!
No problemo! Beeserker is fun, and full of healthful vitamins.
The tragic thing about nesting Sciencemen is that you don't know which one is the lil'est until you have a half of it in each hand and all that's inside is guts.
I really love reading this post and those comments, thank you all.
Since you're such an awesome internet cartoonist, we all chipped in and got you a mp3 ring tone. It's Susan Vega's "Tom's Diner." We hope you like it! (It will arrive in 6-8 weeks in the mail on 10 individual 3.5" floppy disks, for your convenience.)
