(read The Flying Castle story from the beginning)
The turnover rate of employment at The Flying Castle is astounding.
Love it! I guess evil, disembodied hands have cuticle problems too from time to time.
Especially if they’re disembodied. Think of that that wear and tear scuttling around on your fingers everywhere!
isnt it wonderful how someones constant and sometimes rather creepy obsession of keeping there resumes on themselves at all times works out on some level i suppose.
also i love the paralysis doom ray wins the day for our heros
You don’t always have your resume handy? I thought this was normal!
Yes, for once, someone else has screwed up even more than Bobby and Miss Bluestocking! They look relatively redeeming.
The Baron isn’t related to Ickondok, is he?
They are related! Ickondok is older and has spent more time hanging out in the demon realm. The Baron prefers more earthly distractions. In their handed states, they’re pretty similar, except Ickondok can’t paralyze his victims with a glare, but he can compel whomever he’s attached to do evil.
I think having a job might be good for Bobby… I wonder what Robbie has been up to this whole time?
Probably catching up on his Frasier fanfiction!
I love the use of red in the strip. And I just now noticed the ghost has a fez hat. HA!
I think that’s a lampshade, actually! Dude’s a partier.
Heck, he seems to be enjoying himself in that last panel. Is he trying to get the wine from Bobby?
Yep! Despite his paralysis, the power of the booze compels him.
Is the ghost twitching his arm trying to get the wine bobby has despite being paralysed? some alcoholics those two are =P
They’d tell you it’s the Baron’s tyranny that drives them to drink, however I think they’re just bored, after all these centuries of being cooped up in a flying castle.
