It’s really great to see a child unlock their full potential. Even if it’s at the cost of deflating a robot’s ego.
I’d still like to read Robbie’s op-ed piece! Until the 1850s, nostalgia was considered a medical condition. It was coined “Swiss homesickness” in the late 17th century. There were even cases that resulted in death! I’ve never been to Switzerland, but apparently it can have quite an effect on you after you leave.
Enough of this talk about longing for the past, let’s talk about the here and now, and what’s happening now is that the Robbie and Bobby Comic Collection is for sale in the store! It turned out quite nice, and I’m very proud of it. There’s also an “Anniversary Edition” combo deal that includes a sketch and a copy of the Robbie and Bobby Comics Primer mini book. You save 20% off the mini book, and get a sketch just because you’re so nice. And even if you can’t buy a book, please spread the news to your buddies who like comics, or robots, and/or comics about a robot and his boy.
The book release/birthday party this weekend was a whole lotta fun, and thanks so much to everyone who came out and made it the best time ever. There were many surprises for me, too! Julai and my friends cosplayed as the cast of Robbie and Bobby! I will post about all that in a blog later today, (you guys do read the blog, right?) but right now it’s very late in my time zone and I wanted to get this new comic up and tell you about the book being in the store!
Thanks so much for being the best readers a robot and boy could ask for! See your bright and shiny faces in the a.m.
