The depth and attention to detail in this comic in particular is amazing. Everything has texture, there is depth, the fish-eye view, even the dialogue box placement… you’ve really outdone yourself, Jason!
Thanks Anh! I think I was experimenting with dot tones as a quick way to add texture to a comic, but it’s worthwhile to add it freehand. Backgrounds go a long way, too. You may have heard me say it before, but I get lost drawing wood grain. It’s a gateway into details.
