This isn’t Robbie and Bobby’s first ride around the block!
So what would you drive around in?
By the way, I have a guest comic up over at EQComics! I’m a fan of Dan Long’s comics, and you should be, too! Go read ‘em!
Ha! Great strip. I haven’t thought about Richard Scarry books in years.
If I had to choose a food vehicle, I think I’d have to pick a block of cheese… except I couldn’t drive it in the summer.
Haha! Good choice. Swiss cheese would be so fast, what with all the speed holes.
every panel (save the first) was funny. the quest comic too.
Thanks Jety. Sometimes a panel’s laff-factor has to be exchanged for the setup, you know?
but of course. it’s remarkable that so much of it was funny. usually the laugh is found only at the end of any comic strip.
The 1:1 laugh to panel ratio is my dream, though. I’ve seen some of that goodness in Calvin & Hobbes. Usually requires some really witty banter.
Why, a pea of course: http://martha.redeggs.co.uk/PeaCar6.jpg
Nice work over at Edmund Finney!
Thanks for the kind words, Alan!
WHAA?!! That car! Scooter around town in your Faraday-mobile spreading cheer, mirth, and slime!
BTW, Liked your Darkplace reference in your recent comic!
Haha I love Scarry too – I buy his books for my niece whenever I find them.
The cheerful mayhem of Busytown is just the best! What a great aunt you are.
Richard Scarry comics for the win!
Speaking of kids books, I like what I’m seeing about your dinosaur book! Way to go man. Can’t wait to see when it’s all put together
Thanks man! I’m really enjoying this project! Nice to break up the pace a bit.
Thanks for the encouragement. Means a lot.
Yes, Richard Scarry. Also what is Robbie thinking?
Robbie’s thinking about swimsuit weather.
Oh Bobby, the only place you’re headed to is Indigestion.
I’m hoping for Istanbul (Not Constipated)
Yessss! I’d be riding around in soygurt :”'(
More like… SoyGOgurt!
Look at Bobby’s windswept hair! I like how it bounces back to perfection.
I’d be riding around in a thermos full of orange juice and vanilla whey protein powder.
Riding around in a greasy pizza is very beneficial for Bobby’s hair type.
Whoa, your vehicle sounds pretty tasty! Like an Orange Julius. mmm
I think the funniest (and most ironic) thing about your comic is there was an Activa ad on the page!
Haha! HOW DO THEY KNOW ME SO WELL?
The Pizza car is also more aerodynamic than most other food vehicles.
The pizza car/wind tunnel tests went very well for this particular model.
Awesome how you keep coming up with ideas, cheers!
The Lowly Worm is my muse.
