(read The Flying Castle story from the beginning)
I’m packing up my comics and heading to San Antonio for the Texas Comicon. If you’re in the area this weekend, come check it out. I’ll be at table #133 with Zach Taylor, and at table #146 are my other comic pals, Austin Bedell and Chris Sweet!

I would enjoy it if the baron turned out to be Robbie. Who still forced them to work off the price for the window
Being an ageless robot, he would have a certain advantage over these feeble mortals.
oh the worlds tiniest fiddle pours salt into the wounds of guilt once more, that is why i i removed all human and plant emotions from myself… i feel nothing
plant emotions, eh?
yes you humans wouldnt understand the depth of of emotions us sentient plants have, or maybe you do… i dont know anymore
I had a dream last night that the next page was the last page but it was a video that showed multiple pages to finish up the story accompanied with music. There was also a lot of broken embedded javascript on the page. Something about Bobbie and Ms. Bluestocking we’re dipped in black ink, then fell down a garbage shoot, then we’re adopted by a couple who didn’t realize that they were Bobbie and Miss Bluestocking…
Two things:
1. Don’t do this, the site looked terrible.
2. Yes when I dream I dream of sitting at my computer surfing the internet and watching Robbie and Bobbie videos.
Haha! That’s a pretty great dream. I especially liked the part where their ink-stained selves got adopted! I have dreams about comics, too. It’s always exciting/dismaying to see what kind of fanfiction the subconscious mind can write.
I’d do the math if I knew what minimum wage was where they were
Also what the projected increases over that period of time would be, projected increase of the price of the window replacement…
…Actually, no, I wouldn’t do the math. It sounds boring
Don’t worry, I did it. At the current Federal minimum wage, it comes out to about 7.25 million dollars. I doubt the Baron is very progressive with his wage increases, so there’s no concern there. Still, that’s a pretty inexpensive 500 year old window, don’t you think?
